CanadianHeaven? Mah / 1. Hydrogen peroxide
With the increasing use of solid socialcosi like Facebook, Twitter and Google Reader, I can hardly think of anything to write here. The distaste for what is happening in Italy (the "short trial" is only the last drop) does not help. Reading the news from here (oh, by the way, have been in Canada for a while ') I feel a sense of unease, as if something big was going to happen, whether a revolution or a coup d'etat (in classic sense), but I know that probably is not so and is just the usual pulling Italy out from bad to worse.
So I thought I'd try writing a small series of off topic about the differences between Italy and Canada, even those who (oddly?) Put in a good light on our country. Having no desire to dwell at length per hour (but I promise something more juicy for the months to come), I start from a detail: the hydrogen peroxide. On normal bottles of this disinfectant, even in the milder version (10 volumes), here written "DANGER - POISON" (which the other is correct in both English and French), complete with a symbol with the skull. We usually restrict themselves to a more reassuring 'OUTDOOR' and 'Keep out of reach of children', written in two languages, however, also present on the Canadian pack.
What we can deduce? Simple obsession with security, or perhaps here the State considers the average citizen more ignorant (rightly?) Or stupid, a little 'as in the U.S.? I do not know, but I think that parallel with the United States will be a recurring theme in this series of posts.
